Nadia has served our Members since 2015, and enjoys supporting school employees who want to better understand their retirement options. She likes being a guide for Members – helping them understand where they are, where they want to go and how to get there.

Nadia explains that a misconception about retirement among school employees is that their pensions will pay close to what they're earning today. "Members believe they are going to have enough money to retire – for the most part, they will only get 50-60% of their income through CalPERS or CalSTRS." 

Nadia earned her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine, and is FINRA registered to sell securities.

In her spare time, Nadia enjoys spending time with her son, especially volunteering in his classroom at school.
